 XXXtentacion Will Live on Through his Music

Rapper XXXtenacion has been pronounced dead in South Florida Late Monday afternoon.

 XXXtenacion (real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy) was said to be leaving a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida moments before the shooting took place. The 20-year-old was then transferred to North Broward Hospital by rescue workers.

“The male that was taken to the hospital has been pronounced dead.” @browardsheriff tweeted confirming the death of the Rapper.
 XXXtentacion was born and raised in Plantation, Florida. He began writing music after being released from a youth correction center. XXX released his first song on Soundcloud in June of 2013 titled “News/Flock.”
Jahseh was a popular figure in Soundcloud rap, and created hits like “Look At Me”, “F**k Love”, “Jocelyn Flores”, “Moonlight”, “Everybody Dies in Their Nightmares”, and “SoAD!”

On August 25 in 2017, XXX released his debut album, “17” his second album, “?“, was released on March 16 of this year. Singles like “SAD!” and “Changes” peaked at numbers 7 and 37 on the Billboard Hot 100. His album, “?“, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
Many celebrities such as Kanye West, Juicy J, Trippie Redd, Miley Cyrus, and J Cole have paid their tributes to XXX via social media.
 
Despite the negative attention XXXtentacion has received, his music will continue to live on. Jahseh was very passionate about inspiring the youth and advocating mental health.
