#FM Trends: XXL Drops the 2019 Freshman Class

DaBaby, Gunna, Meg Thee Stallion, and BlueFace Headline XXL’s 2019 Freshman Class

Beginning in 2007, XXL will drop a Freshman Class. They will be new coming artists and declare them the next stars of the future. The older we get, the more we complain and ask who are these people. The class would don the cover of the magazine and have a cypher. Indie and unsigned rappers in the infancy of their careers will rap about being better than the class and how they was left off it. This class is strong this year. Meg Thee Stallion is the best of the class in my opinion.¬†DaBaby has a strong following and his hit “Suge” has been climbing the charts. Gunna was just featured on DJ Khaled’s latest album. BlueFace is signed with Birdman and had a hit with “Thotiana”, that had Cardi B and YG on the remix.

He has done features for the late Nipsey Hussle and Meek Mill. Rico Nasty is from Maryland and expect her to be in the middle of the women running rap wave.
