50 Cent is known for trolling others on social media; this time, the “Heat” star went after the former G-Unit artist, The Game.
Last night, Sep 3, 50 Cent took home an Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live). The outstanding performance in the Superbowl halftime show included himself, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and others.
On the same night, 50 threw some shade toward the Compton, Calif rapper via Instagram. In a now-deleted post, 50 Cent posted The Game with the caption “No caption needed” with some laughing emojis. Of course, this did not stop others from screenshotting the post and reposting it online, like the Twitter user below.
The Game caught wind of the small diss on Instagram and responded with a picture and caption of his own. He went to find a photo of 50 in an unbuttoned shirt with a loose tie and used the same caption.
As always, 50 had to have the last laugh, and he did it in a classic-50-Cent fashion. Once again, he went to Instagram to post a popular gif of himself laughing as he drives off in his car.
The caption to the post said, “Oh no [sad face emoji] I’m sorry you don’t get one [trophy emoji]. Then the first week 18k, if you need someone to talk to I’m here for you. LOL.” See the Instagram post below.
The Game’s Feelings Towards The Halftime Show & Its Performers
As some may remember, The Game felt like he should have performed in the halftime show instead of the others. The Game even went as far as to say he felt purposely snubbed from performing. He stated, “The real reason I wasn’t on the Super Bowl [halftime show] is because I am not a safe artist.”
Apparently, he felt hurt because he did not get a call since the entire show was seemingly about Los Angeles.
The Game has also been having some run-ins with Eminem; he released a ten-minute diss track against Em. There has been no official response from Eminem himself about it, though.
