Logo remains to the rightful owners …
The Roc-A-Della Logo has been shown worldwide to many fans and is very popular. Now being that Jay z and Damon Dash do not have the tightest bond as they once did, but they would not let a lawsuit come between them. According to XXLMAG, They can celebrate as a federal judge has dismissed a $7 million dollar lawsuit against the two accusing them of copyright infringement over the fame of Roc-A-Fella logo, U.S. district Judge Andrew Carter said In a decision Monday September 26, that Bronx clothing designer Dwayne Walker was not entitled to royalties under a contract that was allegedly signed 20 years ago.
Dwayne Walker did make the logo in 1995 but what took him so long to do a copyright claim. Hopefully he finds some closure or will act early in this particular situation.
