After an explosive argument with Jay-Z, Mariah Carey leaves Roc Nation. A meeting that would lead to Mariah Carey leaving the company. Carey’s resignation occurs only three and a half years after she signed a deal with Roc Nation. A few weeks from now, she will formally depart from the company.
A Friendship That Ended
In 1999, Mariah Carey and Jay-Z collaborated on a song called Heartbreaker, which led to an incredible friendship between them. In 2017, after Carey fired her manager Stella Bulochnikov, the hip hop star signed with Roc Nation. Roc Nation is owned by Jay-Z. She has released her 30th-anniversary album, ” The Rarities” and a New York Best Seller memoir, ” The Meaning of Mariah Carey.”
