New Series Soon Happening
The network Peacock has landed a new series in development, Let Me Hear A Rhyme. A drama based on the novel by Tiffany Jackson. The project consists of Morenike Balogun (Vampire Academy, Jupiter’s Legacy), Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, G-Unit Film and Television, Lionsgate TV and studio-based Tannenbaum Co. as well as Universal Television.
In addition to Jackson, he executive produces with Eric and Kim Tannenbaum of The Tannenbaum Co. and Cooper. Jason Wang is the co-executive producer. Lionsgate TV and Universal TV, a division of Universal Studios Group, are co-producing the show.

What Is It About?
Cooper will direct, and Balogun will write the series. It’s a cross between True Detective and Straight Outta Compton. It takes place in the 1990s. The show will also consist of a love story, murder mystery and thriller to the series. It is a drama that will tell the story of grieving teenagers who use clues that their murdered friend leaves behind. So they can figure out who their killer is. What the teenagers find lead to events they did not foresee happening to them.
50 Cent has produced shows for other networks in the past. Jackson has recently been a producer with a television project called Power on Starz. In addition, he was recently announced as an executive producer for four spin-off series related to Power. Also, Morgan Cooper has worked with another show with the Peacock network.
