Aminé Good For You album equals good vibes

Aminé Good For You album just equals good vibes. Albums from other artist that have come out lately have been really positive message driven or had political undertones but not the Good For You album. Amine’s album is very light hearted and playful from the lyrics to the production.

Aminé was featured on this years XXL freshman class cover Generation Next. The Good For You album serves as his show and prove if he deserved to be apart of that class, and he show’s he might be at the head of the class. Aminé’s single “Caroline” was an instant viral hit!  Amine told Rap Genius “I wrote this song with the intentions of hopefully making a modern day ‘Billie Jean’. “Caroline” represents the handful of women I’ve met in my life that I would put genuine effort in. “Heebiejeebies” another song off the album featuring the super cool Kehlani, this song is a duet between the two about finding that special one, and realizing how great that person is.

The Portland rapper is all about good times  and confidence as he displays on his song “Yellow “(which he makes sure to express is his favorite colors) feat Nelly the chorus to this song spoke to me ” I wanna flex, I wanna show off/Humble when I’m blunt ,but I gotta go hard/ You’re damn right I’m feeling myself/ You know you do the same if it was yourself”. Very often rappers compare themselves to other rappers and sometimes the ones they compare themselves to seem way out of their league , but when Aminé says on the song “Veggies” feat. Ty Dolla Signs ” I’m Andre’s prodigy, can’t find a hotter me”.

He’s saying he’s the prodigy to Andre 3000 from Outkast and after you listen to the Good For You album you can tell it has a 3stacks feel to it. The Good For You album is truly Good For You.
