In the spirit of tradition, Barack Obama has once again released his 2021 holiday playlist picks. And the tracks that made this year’s cut are pretty diverse. A diverse playlist is not unusual for the former Prez. As Obama has said in years prior and continues to state, his tastes are vast. In fact, in an Instagram post, the former POTUS had this to say,
“I’ve always enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music, so it’s no surprise that I listened to a little bit of everything this year.”
There are indeed no lies detected here.
Obama’s 2021 Music Playlist
Barack Obama’s playlist has everything from “Go Down Deh” featuring Shaggy to Lil Nas X’s “Montero.” And that’s only two that have earned a spot on the President’s Spotify. According to hotnewhiphop, his lists include “Volvi” by Bad Bunny and Aventura, Nas and Lauryn Hills, “Nobody,” and “Rumors” by Lizzo and Cardi B.
Making Obama’s List is Always an Honor
Making the former President’s list is an honor that few have. But it signifies a sign of respect to those who have made the cut; that’s a tremendous honor. Imagine going down in history as one of the President’s favorite artists.
