According to BET’s press release, the 5-part docu-series will “recount the remarkable journey of the label, from its extraordinary rise to decline and rebirth to prominence.”
This announcement comes after the celebration of the label’s 20th anniversary.
In an exclusive statement to Billboard, Master P says that “BET is the perfect outlet for the NL Chronicles. I want to continue to inspire and educate my fans and introduce my journey to a new generation. Many will relate to my humble beginnings and realize there are No Limits to what you can accomplish with hard work and determination.”
The series will highlight interviews with his son, Romeo Miller, and notable label artists, Snoop Dogg, Mystikal, Mia X, Mr. Serv-On and more.
