Formerly known as Yung Bleu, Bleu just dropped his new single.  He has a special guest on this one too.  Bleu tapped hip-hop legend, Nicki Minaj, to be featured on the song!  The North and South collide in this one as Bleu hails from Alabama, and the Queen as we all know is from Queens, New York.

Bleu finally got his wish.  Last year, on Twitter, Bleu named Nicki Minaj as the top artist he wanted to make music with.  He now has two songs with two of the biggest artists in music history, first Drake and now Nicki!  The song features a sample from UK artist, Sam Tomkins.  He was ecstatic after he heard Nicki Minaj rapping over his song, “Whole”.  Tomkins took to Twitter to announce the news, into which Nicki tweeted back, “Congratulations babe”.

Bleu and Minaj came together to make “Love in the Way”.  Earlier this week, both artists shared snippets and artwork of the single.  This only increased fan excitement.  On Twitter, Bleu described the new song to be beautiful and going to be heard for years to come.  Nicki also tweeted about the collaboration before it dropped.  She had a warning for her fans to make sure this isn’t played out loud for everyone.  This song sounds like it may be very explicit with Minaj urging listeners to wear headphones for the first listen.

PNB Rock

Amid these two dropping a new song, they also took the time to pay their respect to friend and fellow artist, PnB Rock.  Bleu posted a picture of them both on social media with a caption stating they will meet again.  Nicki took to Twitter to share her feelings on the tragedy as well and was met with some criticism.

The Grammy winning rapper has been busy this whole year.  After dropping her hit single “Freaky Girl”, she doubled up with the remix last week.  It features BIA, JT from the City Girls, Akbar V, Maliibu Miitch, and Katie Got Bandz.  Go check out Bleu’s new track, “Love in the Way” with Nicki now!
