Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, posted a viral photo of their baby boy via his Instagram page on Apr. 15.

Cardi And Offset’s Son’s Name Is Finally Revealed

“WAVE SET CEPHUS” the image’s caption read.

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, also posted a photo of their seven-month-old with the simple dinosaur, Wave, and a teddy-bear emojis.

The couple has another child together, Kulture Kiari Cephus (3). Offset also has an additional three kids, Kody Cephus (7), Kalea Marie Cephus (7), and Jordan Cephus (12).

Their entire family appeared on the cover of Essence magazine’s latest issue.

The Pair Discuss Their Family Dynamic In Essence

In the issue, Cardi admitted that she didn’t want to reveal her son’s name due to the toxicity of the internet. Unfortunately, she witnessed mean comments toward her daughter online in the past. As such, she recently made Kulture’s two million-follower Instagram page private.

“We went through a lot of sad things when it comes to Kulture—terrible behavior that not even the older kids have ever been through. So many people will post mean, disgusting things just to get a reaction from [Offset and I]. It was for that reason the couple waited to show Wave to the world. We want to protect our feelings because we get very, very angry and upset.”

She also revealed that she didn’t meet her husband’s other kids until after they got married.

“After we got married, that’s when I first met his kids. I always wanted them to love me, and they really do. They tell me that. I feel it, and I hope that we always have a great relationship.”

The pair got engaged in October 2017, when Offset proposed to the Bronx native during Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia, Pa. However, documents obtained by TMZ showed that they actually got married in September of that year but kept their union private.

“We were making out, and he was like, ‘You’re going to have my baby one day,'” Cardi recalled. “I was like, ‘We ain’t having no baby. You have to marry me,’ and he was like, ‘Alright, let’s get married.'”

The rest was history.

Cardi posted a video of a beautiful custom diamond necklace she and Offset purchased for their son.

“When Set suggested Wave, I was sold! THAT HAD TO BE HIS NAME!” she wrote.

The chain was made by famed jeweler to the stars, Elliot Eliantte.
