The Spring Benefit 2023 is taking place at the Apollo Theater in his hometown. It started at 7pm EST, and it is honoring Jonelle Procope.

What is The Spring Benefit?

The New York native announced on his Instagram story, “Harlem! I’m coming home. Pull up to the Apollo tonight! It’s going to be one of them Harlem nights!!” It is a signature fundraiser celebrating the Theater’s rich legacy and the culture built upon it. This event brings New York City elites outside from all backgrounds including business, entertainment and philanthropic communities. The money earned tonight supports the not-for-profit organization’s important performing arts, education and community initiatives.

Diddy’s Son Arrested For DUI

Sean Combs’ career is remarkable from launching Bad Boy Records to partnership with Ciroc vodka. A career with highs and lows, but he managed to climb his way back to the top every time. This monumental moment occurring as his son, Justin Combs, was arrested for DUI in L.A on June 4, 2023. He was booked on misdemeanor charges and released on a $5,000 bond. Justin’s mother, Misa Hylton, later blamed Diddy after their son’s arrest. She did not hold back, getting a few jabs in on his newest song with the City Girls and Fabulous “Act Bad.” The fashion designer wrote in her Instagram story, “Act BAD BAD boy. I used to want to be a BAD Girl, I chose to be a QUEEN tried and true. I’m not perfect but I am INTENTIONAL.”

Puff and Misa Make Peace?

However, the pair seemed to make amends as they had a friendly exchange on Instagram. The music mogul shared a video on Instagram and used the hashtag “#f***itfriday.” Hylton agreed under the clip saying, “YUP that’s how I feel everyday.” The Bad Boys executive’s response was, “I love you queen. Stay in the light.” But according to People, the comments are no longer there.
