The Young Thug and YFN Lucci beef has been reignited after the drop of Thugger’s new album, So Much Fun. Lucci took to Instagram to question Thug’s honesty in his debut album, specifically, one of Thug’s bars, in the opening track “Just How It Is”. The bar which instigated Lucci’s post said that he “almost killed someone in Lenox/Ask the cops, ask the detectives, they know the business.”
Lucci took to Instagram question Thug’s honesty in his debut album, specifically, one of Thug’s bars in the opening track “Just How It Is”. The bar which instigated Lucci’s post said that he almost killed someone in Lenox, “Ask the cops, ask the detectives, they know the business.”
Lucci quickly retaliated on his IG story, “Cap ass album. Boy almost shitted himself in Lenox. No cap.” In response, the Young Stoner Life Records founder put up his own Instagram story clapping back at Lucci claiming he would have already killed him if he didn’t appreciate that Lucci was a family man. In his story, Thugger wrote “if aint like what u do for your mother and kids I WOULDVE BEEN KILLED U.”
The animosity between the two dates back to 2017 when Young Thug controversially claimed he was the new Tupac Shakur following the release of Beautiful Thugger Girls. Lucci, who clearly didn’t appreciate Thug’s confidence, fired back in a tweet, “Pac would’ve never wore a dress.” Since then, neither has found a common ground with the other. Earlier this year, Thug went on Instagram Live saying he would slap Lucci on sight. Upon seeing this Lucci interjected the session, responding, “Aye man, stop tagging me in that pussy ass shit. He ain’t gon slap nobody.”
Despite who you think is ahead in the beef, Young Thug is riding high right now after the release of So Much Fun which his fans are heralding as a masterpiece. This album comes on the trail of a massive release with Post Malone in the single “Goodbyes” and his own release of the single “The London” which now features on the newly released album.
