#FMFashion: Roland Corporation And ZANEROBE Collaborate On An Apparel Capsule

Published

on

Roland Corporation and ZANEROBE have come together to create attire that is both edgy and comfy. Subsequently, the two pieces of clothing are streetwear. It’s perfect for wearing during a kickback, time with friends, concerts, photoshoots, or casually.

Anyone can pretty much rock this off, especially music heads. The collection applauds Roland’s legendary TR-808 drum machine while giving back to the youth in the music industry.

Two pieces that I received were a bucket hat and a graphic tee, which immediately caught my eye. The cap carries a sick design of what seems to look like a voice bar in white. There are four different boxes at the bottom of it, which have the colors: white, yellow, orange, and red. The material overall is a mesh of rubber and cotton.

The graphic tee is also cotton material. Carrying the numbers’ 808′, which serves as a symbol of an electronic drum machine, the design is adorned with stripes. But, the actual gasp is the bottom of the numbers, which carry orange, yellow, and red stripes. At the bottom of this, others can peep Roland and ZANEROBE’s moniker in different font sizes. In addition, there seems to be an audio bar underneath Roland and next to ZANEROBE.

Roland is hands down the largest electronic music equipment manufacturer. Pioneering the TR-808 drum machine in 1982 with only 12,000 units, the TR-808 became a major game changer by reinventing hip-hop, techno, and electronic music. The machine paved the way for Phil CollinsMarvin GayeRun DMC, and Beastie Boys. Today, it is still used by artists like Kanye WestPharrellTimbalandSwizz BeatzRL Grime, and many others.

The proceeds from this collaboration will help emerging artists attend 1500 Sound Academy. It’s the most elite music production training available for musicians worldwide. 1500 Sound Academy is co-founded by Grammy®-winning singer James Fauntleroy and Grammy-winning producer Larrance “Rance” Dopson. The school will coincide with career-building by giving others more information about the music business.

“1500 Sound Academy is all about giving back to the community,” said Rance Dopson, co-founder of 1500 Sound Academy. “Our goal with this sponsorship initiative is to glue together a partnership between three big influences through art, music, and fashion. Together, we can give back to our communities and fulfill the purpose and young musicians who have a dream.”

The merging of both companies will bridge well-esteemed artists and the most influential electronic music equipment manufacturing company. As a whole, they will come together to create quality music that positively moves the world.

“Core to ZANEROBE is artistic expression and music. Donating the proceeds from the revenue generated from the collaboration to the 1500 Sound Academy is a big thank you for all the great things the Academy is doing to help a younger generation of artists reach new levels. We thank Roland and the Academy for including us in this life-changing initiative,” says Jonathon Yeo, Director and co-founder of ZANEROBE.
