Uptown DC’s own, Digaveli releases a soulful EP by same name. The project contains 7 soulful tracks composed by Delonta Washington himself. His booming, yet raspy DC drawl complements the smooth, deep production.

Digaveli is a lyricist through and through. He exercises it throughout the EP but he really shines on songs like Smile, Faded, Such Is Life, My Block. He flexes his lyrical dexterity and producing chops in a variety of ways, whether it’s being introspective on Such Is Life, or bring us together on My Block.
Digaveli manages showcase all his talent in just a 7 song EP. He takes us through a range of emotions and subject matters in 22 minutes, yet nothing feels out of place. He can motivate and speak to your soul with Boss Moves and Smile, as well as turn up with Faded and Dreams. It all flows incredibly well together. The rapper-producer is as versatile as there is coming out of DC.
The Digaveli EP touches you in your soul with its simple yet poignant messages, and relatable storytelling. The music itself feels like DC and encapsulates DC hip-hop. Easy listening, 8.1 out of 10.
