Lil Uzi Vert confirmed the breakup between him and City Girls’ rapper JT around a week ago. Now, rumors the couple might be back together are making the rounds.

JT has posted selfies of her and Lil Uzi on Instagram Tuesday, April 12, sparking the rumors then. This comes after Uzi voiced frustration with how they broke up “over dumb s**t.” Allegedly, the two broke up over an old tweet where Uzi tried to shoot his shot with musician Distortedd.

Previously, the couple seemed to have relationship issues over Uzi’s treatment of City Girls member Careesha.

On the other end of the spectrum, Uzi and JT are also known for presenting each other lavish gifts. So things could go either way at this point.

“You know I love you like no one else could,” JT wrote Tuesday.

A Brief History of JT and Uzi’s Relationship

Rumors of the initial relationship began in 2019. Fans suspected a couple of dating after each artist name-dropped each other in their songs. Uzi bragged about taking her on vacation in his song “Lo Mein.”

Likewise, JT allegedly talked about him on the City Girls track “Winnin.” JT denied rumors initially, but people made up their minds after several suspicious social media posts. One post included a selfie with an imposing rock on her finger.

However, things hit a bump in the road when Uzi’s ex Brittany Byrd posted screenshots alleging the rapper wanted to get back with her. And this would be one of the first of many bumps to crop up in JT and Uzi’s relationship.

Regardless of whether the two rappers end up together, fans won’t be surprised at either outcome. Making up and breaking up is seemingly what this couple does best.
