Kanye West Richer than Drake, Kim K, JAY-Z and Travis Scott Combined?

Kanye West has recently appeared on “Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN”. In it, he brags that he is richer than Drake, Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z, and Travis Scott combined. Let’s do some math to see if it is true, or if he is just puffing hot air.

Who “IS” Richer?

Ye is absurdly rich. He had recently bought a bachelor’s pad in Belgium! There is some confusion on his net worth, however. Bloomberg and Billboard claim that his net worth is $6.6 billion, but Forbes is coming up with an entirely different number. They are saying that he “only” has $1.8 billion.

Drake has $49 million as of 2020, according to Forbes. The year, before, however, he had $150 million. Wealthy Gorilla, however, is coming up with $180 million. He either lost 100 million dollars in 2020, or he gained 30. Most websites are going with the 180 number, so we will do the same.

Kardashian is a billionaire. She has $1.4 billion. There is no real debate over this number. Forbes is also saying she is worth over $1 billion.

Jay-Z is also worth $1.4 billion. He had gotten a 40% increase when he had sold half his champagne brand and a majority of his streaming company. This is another net worth that is not surrounded by debate.

Travis Scott has $50 million. There is no debate over this number either.

Putting it all together

If we with the low number that Forbes is giving to West, then this is a blowout. Kardashian and Jay-Z alone have $2.8 billion. That is an entire billion over what he has. However, if we trust Bloomberg and Billboard’s number, then Kanye West has more than double what they have. Being generous with Drake and putting him at $180 million, then all four of these artists have a combined total of $3.03 billion. It is just a matter of whose numbers one trusts.
