In the latest chapter of what seems to be never ending he said, she said drama book, Kelsey Nicole; former bestie of Megan Thee Stallion, slams her on her new diss track Bussin Back. On Thanksgiving eve, Kelsey surprised the internet by announcing the song, it features the beat from Tupac Shakur’s “Hit ‘Em Up,” a song created during the beef between the late rapper and Notorious B.I.G.
“Are you lying to your label/Do they really know what happened?” Kelsey said in the song. She also mentions “All you had to do was clear your best friend’s name,” which makes reference to the shooting incident that took place back in July. Social media users have mixed reactions, with some wondering why Kelsey did the song in the first place and others questioning whos side is the truth surrounding the shooting where Megan, Tory Lanez, and Kelsey were in the car.
Kelsey also spoke about the diss track and beef with Megan on an Instagram Live. She accused her of breaking girl code and messing with a guy she was on first. She said she didn’t want to do this on the internet but, addressing Megan, Kelsey said, “You steady trying to put me down. Why?” She continued, “I wasn’t your enemy, you made me your enemy. We stopped f***ing with each other, but I wasn’t your enemy.” She went on to explain that she feels like it’s only right for her to respond after Megan made a diss track first.
Although both diss tracks tell us a lot about the beef between Kelsey Nicole and Megan Thee Stallion, there’s still a lot left in the dark about their friendship, and what truly went down that night of the shooting.
In response to Kelsey’s track, Megan tweeted laughing emojis before posting a video on Instagram of her and her friends with their middle fingers up.
