The beloved Hip-Hop group might finally be broken up after Offset from the Migos unfollowed Quavo & Takeoff on Instagram. Fans noticed this after both Quavo & Takeoff announced a new joint single titled “Hotel Lobby” yesterday (May 18th). Hotel Lobby is releasing this weekend. The timing is strange, especially considering that Offset’s wife Cardi B also removed both rappers from her social media as well. While some doubters predicted the group’s run of hit-making would end eventually, it’s still really sad to see happen now if true. Many thought the Atlanta group’s familial relationship would keep the group together.

Quavo & Takeoff Announce New Single As “Uncle & Phew”

As mentioned above, the news of this collaborative single between Quavo & Takeoff initially sparked the fan rumors online. The song titled “Hotel Lobby” will reportedly be released this Friday (May 20th) by the two remaining group members as “Uncle & Phew”. This is obviously a reference to Quavo being Takeoff’s blood uncle. Their cousin Offset could’ve left the group for this reason or way before the song’s creation. Take a look at Quavo’s Instagram post below announcing the single & revealing its cover art:

Are The Migos Really Over For Good?

While the Instagram unfollowing would imply that Offset separated from the Migos, not all signs support this sad rumors. At the time this is being written, Migos are still set to perform at Toronto’s Rolling Loud event in September. Additionally, there’s still potential that this whole drama is fuel to promote new music from the group. However, it does look like the Quavo & Takeoff single dropping tonight is an official release separate from the “Migos” entity. Read more of FM Hip-Hop’s featured articles today.
