Odell Beckham Jr, Cleveland Brown’s wide receiver, suffers from a torn ACL on Sunday.
In the first quarter, The star wide receiver attempted to make a tackle while injuring his left knee.
Beckham did not return for the rest of the game on Sunday. The Browns defeated the Cincinnati Bengals in a 34-37 victory.
Beckham’s diagnosis was not confirmed until Monday following an MRI. On Monday, reporter Josina Anderson confirmed the severity of Beckham’s injury.
“Odell Beckham Jr just text me that his ACL is torn and that his season is over,” Josina said via Twitter.
In March, the New York Giants traded Beckham to the Browns in exchange for their first and second-round pick in the 2020 draft. Odell signed a 77 million dollar contract with the browns. According to Fox Business, he will earn 12.97 million dollars following his injury.
The Browns stands third in the AFC North with their 5-2 record.
On Sunday, The team will face the Oakland Raiders.
