Pusha T has created another diss track but this time all rappers are safe. Pusha teams up with Arby’s as he directs his bars towards a rival fast-food franchise. McDonald’s is unfortunately on the wrong side of this one. The house of the clown will not be loving this.
When first coming across this story it is hard to see it as anything other than a gimmick. Pusha’s last diss track was against Drake and now he is beefing with McDonald’s. Some might see it as a downgrade for T but the payout will be a lot bigger. Plus, he might win this battle and have a larger come up.
Pusha T Disses McDonald’s
Pusha T posted the Arby’s commercial on his Instagram and the video went viral. The post has almost 1 million views. People are flocking to hear what Pusha has to say.
“Filet-O-Fish is s**t and you should be disgusted. How dare you sell a square fish asking us to trust it. A half slice of cheese, Mickey D’s on a budget?” via Instagram
Pusha T didn’t leave it up for us to debate who he was talking about. He calls out McDonald’s by name and strikes at their Filet-O-Fish. No need to read between the lines because the message is direct.
“A little cube of fish from a clown is basic. Say less, this argument is baseless. Drowned in tarter that Filet-O-Fish is tasteless.” via Instagram
Pusha T’s voice is immediately recognized and his iconic cadences capture the listener’s ear.

Pusha T dives deeper into why he teamed up with Arby in an interview with Rolling Stones.
“I am solely responsible for the ’I’m Lovin‘ It’ swag and the jingle of that company” via Rolling Stone
Pusha takes responsibility for helping McDonald’s with their famous jingle. In his ad with Arby’s, this is the first thing he mentions.
In the interview with Rolling Stone, Pusha T talks about how his brother and he were young when working with McDonald’s. The Clipse members were underpaid if you take into consideration how much others were paid for helping with the Mickey D’s jingle.
“It was like half a million or a million dollars for me and my brother…I had to get that energy off me, and this [ad] was the perfect way to get that energy like, ‘You know what? I’m over it.” Rolling Stone
Pusha has been holding on to this for a long time but he did learn his lesson while wondering for McDonald’s. Pusha asked for more this time around.
This Arby’s ad featuring Pusha T has a lot of ground to cover before being mentioned with the “I’m Loving It” jingle but it has taken a nice first step. Pusha and Arby’s have opened the door for McDonald’s to respond but will they. We have to wait and see how McDonald’s will answer.
