Remy Ma Says Her Pen Game Scares Female Rappers

Remy Ma remains untouched in the hip-hop game. Words like “fierce,” “smooth,” and “lyrically equipped” often come up when mentioning her name. Not only is she still the First Lady of Terror Squad, but she’s collaborated with Big Pun, Fat Joe, JAY-Z, and more. Given these points, Remy Ma’s legacy is withstanding.

In hindsight, Remy Ma thinks her pen game and her accolades scare fellow female rappers. Additionally, Remy Ma expresses that these reasons are why she hasn’t hopped alongside them on a track

During a recent visit to Big U’s Checc’n In podcast, she said

“My pen really go. They know. Nobody doesn’t play with me. Even guys. People call me and they’re like, ‘You need to do some features.’ No girl wants to be on a song with me. Especially if she up!”

“She doesn’t want Remy Ma on a song. They know what’s gon’ happen, and the same thing goes for guys. A guy doesn’t want to call me to get on a song ’cause he knows what’s going to happen! So, it’s cool. I’m alright with it.”

Elsewhere, she spoke about her six-year sentence in prison after being convicted of assault, illegal weapon possession, and attempted coercion in 2008. She admitted she spent time with ill-minded individuals leading up to her incarceration.

Remy Ma has now taken on acting. She debuted in the BET+ film American Gangster Presents: Big Fifty – The Delrhonda Hood Story

The Bronx native portrayed the real-life notorious Detroit queenpin Delrhonda Hood, withTank, Ta’Rhonda Jones, and Michael Anthony.
