Singer and Rapper JayDaYoungan was involved in Second Degree Murder; police arrested Jay this week. His alleged warrant charges include accessory to second-degree murder and obstruction of justice in connection to a deadly altercation. The shooting happened on Aug. 8,2020, on Vernon Town Road in Roseland, where people gathered. Two people got injuries and one person died.
Trouble seems to follow JayDaYoungan
Known for his hit singles “Elimination,” “23 Island,” and “Opps,” JayDaYoungan collectively has over 170 million streams on Spotify. He has accomplished a lot, while only being twenty-three years old. Yet, trouble still seems to follow him. In May 2019, police arrested Jay on drug charges in Gadsden County, Florida. In February 2020, police arrested Jay again for hitting a pregnant woman who hid in an attic in Texas. Lastly, in October 2020, he punched, pushed, and grabbed another woman that he lived with.
A Cry out for HELP!
In 2018, Jay admitted to Vlad TV about smoking marijuana and also drinking lean. Lean is a cough syrup that is mixed with Sprite and sometimes hard candy is added. Some lean users also mix the combination with alcohol. Lean is very popular in the south and has been glamorized by rappers in the past: Lil Wayne, Curren$y, the Three 6 Mafia, and many more. Curren$y talks on Drink Champs about almost dying from lean when he was with Lil Wayne. Back to Jay’s interview with Vlad, he also mentions his time for arrest or death is about to come and tells the story of how he grew up in the streets. JayDaYoungan obviously needs the help and therapy, if he is open to it.
