Slim Jxmmi’s battery case was dropped recently. Slim Jxmmi, one-half of the rap duo Rae Sremmurd, was arrested for domestic violence last month.
The police reports stated he allegedly ripped off his child’s mother’s hair extensions, broke down a door, and threw her phone off the balcony. The initial argument began when she confronted Jxmmi about another woman he was following on Instagram. After that, he left returning drunk and hostile.
The Shade Room reports that physical abuse is a regular part of his and Kiara’s relationship. Kiara has been described as Jxmmi’s “punching bag.” However, this has never been confirmed.
Not long after Jxmmi had been put in jail, his girlfriend denied the assault on Instagram.
“Oh wow. This is cap. Dade County y’all are wrong for this. I told you guys he did not hit me. Every officer you guys had in my face are wrong for this. No hands were put on anybody, I stated it more than once. It was a loud argument and the police were called. You guys turn nothing into something. It’s our [son’s] first birthday tomorrow, what’s wrong with y’all?”
The case had to be dropped because Jxmmi’s girlfriend refused to cooperate. This caused credibility concerns.
Slim Jxmmi was released from prison with a $2,500 bond. He also had to wear a GPS device. However, it was removed in exchange for the bond to be raised to $20,000.
Toxic relationships are a very hard thing to leave. They cause the victim to believe that they deserve the mistreatment. It is even harder when a child comes from it. If Kiara is reading this and he really is abusing her, all that I can ask is think about what would be best for you and the baby.
