Musical Guests For Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show Announced
It’s the Line Up For Me! NFL, Pepsi, and Roc Nation have announced that the one and only Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre will be performing at the 2022 Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show. Let’s GOOOOOOOOOO! It all goes down on Sunday, February 13, at the new Sofi Stadium in Inglewood. It will be broadcast live on NBC. Not only will this be the first NFL title game to happen in L.A in nearly three decades, but the first time these musical greats will come together on one stage, in one night, to give us what we already know is going to be one hell of a show.
Roc Nation’s Partnership The NFL
In 2019, Roc Nation, the entertainment company founded by rapper and businessman Jay-Z, partnered with the NFL to enhance the live game experiences and heighten social justice efforts. As a part of the agreement, Roc Nation gets to advise on the selection of artists for major NFL performances such as the Super Bowl. It’s safe to say that they have definitely outdone themselves with this amazing lineup. Roc Nation and Emmy nominated producer Jesse Collins will produce the halftime show. I’m sure that come February 13, we the viewers, will not be disappointed.
The Excitement of It All
Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar, who are originally from L.A will get to perform right in their backyard. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul and R&B Mary J. Blige took to social media to share the news with her fans, and so did the others from the lineup. A lot of the fans agree that this will be the best halftime show ever. Dr. Dre said that he’s extremely excited to share the stage with his friends for the show.
