ICE CUBE-COLD AS EVER

Ice Cube has a lot going for himself these days, the Rap Icon recently being signed to Interscope Records and already has a project that was released on June 9^th, 2017. While the project is a re-release of his Death Certificate album which was originally released in 1991, this new project titled Death Certificate 25^th Anniversary edition has three new songs added to the original twenty. The added tracks titled, only one me, Good cop Bad cop, and Dominate the weak, these new songs fit in perfectly with the original songs on the album giving off the same feel as the 1991 release. The re-release of Death Certificate comes out in a time where the world seems to be in the same place as it was in 1991, with the racial profiling, police brutality, and the police killings of unarmed individuals, which goes to show Ice Cubes work is timeless.

Three days after Death Certificate 25^th Anniversary edition was released Ice Cube was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A huge accomplishment for the former N.W.A member, and rightfully deserved. Cube received the star outside the Musician institute on the Hollywood Boulevard. People gathered to witness Ice Cube receive his star among those people there were his wife and kids, and his parents. Also in attendance were the living members of N.W.A, Yo-Yo, and W.C. During Cubes speech, he said “you don’t get here by yourself, today is not really about Ice Cube it’s all about the people that helped me to get here”. The Icing on the cake of all the things Ice Cube has coming down the pipe line, the Icon has confirmed that work is beginning on the final Friday movie, the world has been waiting for that confirmation! It’s 2017 and Ice Cube isn’t showing any signs of melting.
