G-Unity Making Major Moves In Texas…

Legendary rapper, 50 Cent real name Curtis Jackson, proves that he’s worth more than his name suggests.  As a new member to the Texan community, 50 wasted no time making a mark on his new home.  Teaming up with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, he’s donated $300,000 to three academically declining high schools through his G-Unity Foundation.  The schools, Wheatley, Kashmere, and Worthing will be using a business-ready program focusing on entrepreneurship.  Within the past year of COVID-19, 50’s priority is that no student falls any further behind in their learning than they already have.

The students have access to the all new G-Unity lab.  Here, students gain entrepreneurial business skills in 50 Cent’s hopes of increasing the amount of minority owned businesses. Mayor Turner explains that students learn from MBA-level lessons that range from product life-cycles to business management.  Succeeding students then gain opportunities for paid internships, business connections, and even meeting 50 himself.

In typical Fiddy fashion, he boasts that “it’s three schools now, but it’s going to be a lot more, just watch me.” Despite his eternal commitment to being a playful menace in the celebrity world, none can deny his charitability.  Even in December, the outspoken rapper donated countless Christmas gifts at Houston’s Toyota Center.  It appears as though “Die Tryin'” is no longer an option and that his goal is for his community go “Get Rich.”

Well there it is!
