For almost 2 years now, A$AP Rocky has been dealing with the rampage of one of his obsessed fans. The accused, Micaela Jimenez, has been involved in a series of events aimed at Rocky that would scare anybody.
It all seemed to start in June, 2018 when the woman showed up at his house, telling his assistant that she had an appointment with the rapper. As his assistant was verifying her identity, she punched him in the face and quickly ran to Rocky’s master bedroom where he was asleep. He was startled and tried to stop her, but not before she ripped off his necklace. LAPD was called as they could not get Jimenez out of the house.
The struggle continued to December, 2018 when A$AP was performing at Midnight Rave. As he made his way through the crowd, the woman started emotionally hugging him from behind with no consent.
“On that same night, after I entered my vehicle to leave the venue, Respondent jumped in without my permission, landing on my lap while I was in the backseat. At that point, I was startled, shocked, and in fear for my safety. To resolve this situation, my personal security team had to physically remove (the woman) from my vehicle,” states the artist.
Then, in June of 2020, Jimenez showed up at his residence again, and when Rocky’s security team told her that the rapper wasn’t there, she sprayed blue ink all over one of his parked cars, claiming that she would return. There are also many reports of the woman sleeping in her car outside of Rocky’s house and telling people that she was married to him.
A$AP Rocky has now filed for a 1000 yard restraining order against Jimenez, but the judge will not grant anything until his hearing next month on the issue.
“My concern with Respondent’s instability and her potential threat to me is heightened by the knowledge that she has already been arrested for assault and battery on my assistant, but she continues to stalk me,” claims A$AP Rocky as files the suit.
