“Hangout is a three-day festival on the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, AL,” the event’s website says. “It’s a place to gather your group of friends, throw on your favorite bathing suit, and hit the beach for some sun, fun, and a great time.”
Below are also the festival’s general rules:
All ages welcome. 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult over 21.
Children aged 5 and under can enter for free with parents or guardians. No more than 2 children per supervisor.
The show will take place in any weather conditions.
Lineup and schedule can change.
You can enter and exit three times throughout the festival.
The event’s promoters also took care of the COVID precautions. The event requires masks or vaccination. However, Alabama’s Hangout Festival website still admits that “there is no guarantee, express or implied, that those attending the festival will not be exposed to COVID-19.”
The partners of the event include Malibu, Corona, and Monster. Skincare products also somehow ended up on the sponsors’ list.
Astroworld Festival Disaster
Across the Gulf, more details of Astroworld festival stampede come to light. Apparently, guards did not have to go through training or even get a driver’s license for the role.
Robin Roberts from Good Morning America also claimed that “the Houston police chief met with Travis.” Moreover, security’s concerns about safety began even before the show.
