Antonio Brown Signs 1 Year Deal With The Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Antonio Brown, a free-agent wide receiver, signs a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to the NFL, Brown and the Buccaneers reached a one-year agreement on Saturday.

According to ESPN, the deal includes 1 million dollars in base salary. His total salary could gross 2.5 million dollars if the Buccaneers go to the super bowl as well as touch down incentives.

Brown’s teammates have pushed for his return to the league. According to ESPN, Tom Brady, Buccaneers QB, has been pushing the team to sign brown since the summer.

Before his season debut, Brown will have to pass the NFL’s Covid-19 protocol. If passed, Brown will make his season debut in week nine against the New Orleans Saints.

Antonio Brown’s last NFL game was September 19th as a member of the New England Patriots. During the 2019 season, he was suspended from the NFL due to criminal allegations. He was also released from the Oakland Raiders and the New England Patriots last season.
