Grammy Award-winner Bad Bunny is killing it in the recent trailer of Netflix hit cartel feature Narcos: Mexico.

Bad Bunny, reggaeton and rap artist, joins the cast as “Kitty” Paez, a member of a group of well-to-do kids, eager for the grittier side of life. And a recent sneak-peek shows Bad Bunny feeling right at home in the role. As a Billboard contributor writes,

“The reggaeton superstar comes out guns blazing.”

To be sure, fans are extra hyped over the life the global artist is breathing into the role.

The return of hard-hitting favorite

Narcos: Mexico began airing in November 2018. The drama stunned fans in its visceral depiction of the life of Amado Carrillo Fuentes, leader of the Juarez Cartel. According to the U.S, Sun Fuentes was the most powerful drug dealer in Mexico in the ’90s. And the adrenaline-pumping life saga of this notorious drug lord has fueled fandom, making Bunny’s dreams come true.

This season will follow the dramatic depiction of the struggle between Juarez, Tijuana, and Sinaloa cartels. And for Bad Bunny, it’s a chance to flex his talents in his debut role.

Bad Bunny is serving up a slice

According to Yahoo Entertainment, this is just a preview of the artist’s up-and-coming projects. As Yahoo indicates, he is due to also appear in roles on American Sole alongside O’Shea Jackson Jr and Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock.

Seizing and loving every opportunity

In a heartfelt statement, Bad Bunny artist of El Ultimo Tour del Mundo (translated “The Last World Tour”) summed things up perfectly,

“I always wanted to make movies and act, so it’s a dream come true,”

And based on what viewers are seeing, he is going fuel throttle.

Fans can check out the trailer here but will have to stay tuned for the soon-to-release 2021 airing of the hit series on Netflix on November 5.
