So the look book and individual collection pieces for Balmain’s HM collaboration have been released. Needless to say, it’s all a bit overwhelming.
Initially, you just want everything. You’re adding up those prices, preparing your bank account, and clearing your schedule on the release date.
But really, because there are so many bomb items, we really get to pick and choose. And let’s be realistic, you’re not going to wear that all sequence dress more than a handful of times, …if that. We have the gram to thank for that.
We’re also not posing for magazine spreads daily, so our wardrobe needs to be cohesive with our lifestyle. Don’t get me wrong, there’s always that special piece, and no matter how impractical it is, it hits all of our happy spots. We just have to have it. And we definitely support that love of fashion. But we also support good decisions, and preparation can help us minimize costly regrets.
We’ve put together our favorite items of the most wanted collab of the year, from splurge worthy to dresses for days. Olivier really hooked it up for us this Winter, and we’re looking forward to poppin’ tags November 5th.
This leather jacket is everything! Even though it’s $400, it’s leather, it’s Balmain, and you can wear it with everything. I love a good pair of colored pants. These suede green ones standout, and with a $400 price tag, the quality better be there. All that being said, you can wear these for years to come.
Definitely have to cop one of these baddies. And then we have to cop one of these jackets below to go on top.
And then we have our necessary randoms. While we probably wouldn’t style these pieces exactly how they do in the look book, that red satin skirt is a killer. If you like to party, it will definitely be real clutch, and always be a looker.
