The “Bay Area Way” E-40 and Too $hort Verzuz

The Verzuz between E-40 and Too $hort is said to be the most expensive Verzuz yet. Capping at $500,000, they are determined to make this the best Verzuz ever. Originally supposed to be set in the Steve Jobs theatre in the Apple campus, the Bay Area theme is perfect for them. Although they moved their venue to another soundstage, the company is sparing no expense. The venue will be surrounded by concert-style lighting, two old school cars, and expensive props.

We are excited for this Verzuz as Ashanti and Keyshia Cole’s Verzuz was cancelled due to the virus. This Verzuz seems to be among friends as Too $hort and E-40 recently worked together. Their album Ain’t Gone Do It / Terms and Conditions was a complete hit.

E-40 sings Too $hort’s praises by saying “Too $hort’s the big homie,” He also says, “Just to be on the album with them two tycoons, man. You feel me? We’re tycoons, too, but you know they the young tycoons. You know? So that’s me and him. We’re going to make another album, as well, another classic, but like I say, it was beautiful to have me and $hort because that’s my big bro, man. He the Godfather. I’m the ambassador. You feel me? And then … Come on. Chris Brown and Young Thug? Come on, man. I mean, it’s a slap.”
