Beats by Dre Most Popular Speakers Recalled

Legendary hip hop mogul Dr. Dre made history when he became the highest paid musician in 2014 after selling his Beats by Dre electronic business to Apple for 3 billion dollars. Over the years, Beats By Dre has changed the way everyone listens to music. They’ve been a hit, especially with professional athletes all over the world. Up until now, the business has been pretty lucrative for the owners.

However, yesterday, Apple issued a voluntary recall of the popular Beats Pill XL Speakers, and it may cost them some money. According to their website, the recall will include “a refund for customers. Apple has determined that, in rare cases, the battery in the Beats Pill XL may overheat and pose a fire safety risk. The recall does not affect any other Beats or Apple products.”

Apple is asking that Pill owners don’t bring the product into their stores, however. If you want your refund, you’ll need to fill out this form online.  After you’ve done your part, the company will send you a postage paid box. In about three weeks, you’ll have the option to either get a refund or an Apple store credit.
