Watch: Bee-B – “Stretch”

Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and rapper Bee-B has officially dropped a visual for her song “Stretch.”

About the single she says,

“The song is an anthem. It’s BIG. You feel it from the moment the song comes on. I’m excited about the release and the reaction of my fans. I hope that everyone feels good when they play this no matter where they are.”

“Stretch” is a feel-good hip-hop record with a 2000’s feel to it. Not to mention, the song carries a catchy sing-song chorus. Lyrically, Bee-B describes a hot and heavy relationship that’s bound to go further. But it’ll only happen if he comes correct and treats her properly. Using a slick, confident approach, she speaks about her superiority, spitting:

The life of the party send you my location/You been on my hit list while I been on your wish list/My nails and my hair did/Outfit on bootylicious.”

Afterward, she calls out her future beau, warning him that he better not break her heart.

The second verse sees Bee-B encouraging the ladies to do whatever makes them feel good! And to wear whatever makes them feel confident. If a man isn’t willing to wine and dine them, she pushes them to do it for themselves. After all, there’s plenty of fish in the sea! There’s no need to worry over one dude.

Before the song ends, she describes her ideal man, all while showcasing a strong suit of self-worth.

Fellas know I’m expensive and bossy/You fucking with a bad one feeling dinero/Need a real one that came from the ghetto.”

The visual finds Bee-B getting right at the gym, doing a split on two sets of speakers, and gliding on the floor with various dance moves.

She adds, “From the creative direction, I worked on the choreography with Antwon Collier for a month before we even began rehearsals for the video.”

“The creative direction came from the song’s lyrics “stretch it out/work it out,” and what I wanted to embody from the visuals were; high energy, bossy vibes. You immediately think it’s a “workout” song, but there’s so much more to it than that, so I wanted to ensure that the fans got to see that.”

The Los Angeles native has already gained notoriety from working and writing music for artists such as Kash DollQueen NaijaSummer WalkerJohn LegendYGTy Dolla Sign, and Chrisette Michele. Her writing credits also include Theophilus London’s “Can’t Stop” featuring Kanye WestLedisi’s “Let Love Rule” and Atlantic Records artist Bhad Bhabie.
