Benny the Butcher Says ‘Tana Talk 4’ is on the Way

Benny the Butcher has one of the most fitting taglines in Hip-Hop. Each year, Benny puts out multiple projects of consistently great quality. Proving that even though he’s been here to stay, he’s still always coming for us. His latest announcement has his core fans drooling at the mouth that ‘Tana Talk 4’ is on its way.

In a recent video of Benny leaving the studio at 5:20 am, he says that he’s routinely there that late, constantly recording. He wraps up the brief video by saying that ‘Tana Talk 4’ is in the works. Even more exciting, last year, Benny tweeted that when ‘Tana Talk 4’ drops, he’s throwing it into a double album with ‘Tana Talk 5.’ If this is still his plan, we are absolutely EATING.

As big of a promise this is to fill, The Butcher has been nothing if not reliable. Making up 1/3 of Griselda’s core trio, each member has an avalanche of a catalog in their fairly short careers.  However, if you combine all three of their discographies together, Benny’s 2018 project, ‘Tana Talk 3,’ is easily one of the highest quality among them.  TT3 is the essence of Griselda’s music and one of the best pieces of modern coke rap.

“Last year was about branding, this one about expanding”

Beyond TT3, Benny has been on a constant roll since. His 2019 EP, ‘The Plugs I Met‘ earned Griselda its most attention yet at the time. In 2020, he put out the unique and mature ‘Burden of Proof,’ following it up months later with 2021’s ‘The Plugs I Met 2.’ Each of these projects are absolutely quality, demonstrating that nobody can do it the way Benny does.

Outside of his own projects, he’s become one of the most consistently awesome feature artists working with everybody from Freddie Gibbs to Denzel Curry. What truly sets him apart is his passion for putting on his friends. Within the past year, he’s helmed two projects for his crew in the Black Soprano Family. Furthermore, he constantly promotes coke rap brethren such as 38 Spesh and El Camino.

As Benny constantly elevates the culture, we can’t wait to see where he takes it with ‘Tana Talk 4’ and hopefully ‘Tana Talk 5.’
