Looking Back On Drake’s Greatest Videos
Fan or foe of Drake? Either way, you will soon be reminded of why we love Drake, his music, and his videos. As music videos are a way to send a message about the lyrics or story, it is time to pick our favorites!
“Best I Ever Had” Of Drake And His Music Videos
The song focuses on the importance of gratitude and embracing those you love. It is about focused on being the best and the best for others. In the video, Drake plays a coach for a girls basketball team. Original Drake fans know that he used to play Jimmy Brooks on the TV show “Degrassi The Next Generation” . In season 5, he begins to take on the role of coach Brooks. Due to Drake’s fame starting in the later 2000s, the music video seems to be inspired from his role as a coach on the hit show. The music video is quite sentimental for fans who have known Drake previously from degrassi.
This video starts off by focusing on different citizens who seem to be living in poverty and those who may be struggling in different ways. Throughout the music video, Drake is doing his best to embrace Gods plan for himself and others in order to make a positive change. Money was no longer the most important thing, instead doing the right thing was. Drake’s video is amazing as he focuses on doing good deeds and using his fame in the best way possible. He emphasizes the fact that God can work in magical and mysterious ways.
3. HYFR (2012)
While some people forget that Drake is Jewish, he reminds his audience of his true religion. What makes this video so special and unique is when Drake includes old videos of himself at his Bar-Mitzvah, letting his fans into his previous life. Years later, he decides to get a second Bar-Mitzvah so show him commitment to Judaism. While the video includes himself and many others having a crazy great time, Drake also reminds us that accomplishments are often rewarded when reaching a milestone.
