Beyonce and Jay Z Set to Release Joint Album in 2015
Last September it’s been rumored Beyonce and Jay Z will be releasing a joint album and now its reportedly going to be released exclusively on Tidal according to DJ Skee. It was first revealed on Skee TV that the album is “nearing completion” and it will be releasing sometime this year. Beyonce and Jay Z have yet to confirm the rumors but producer Detail confirmed the album to Billboard in February. “When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think ‘album.’ You should already know,” he told Billboard.
This seems to be a strategic move to help sales for their newly owned music streaming company Tidal. The album releasing exclusively to Tidal is in efforts to help it’s poor performance on the app store as it has already disappeared from the App Store’s top 700 downloads charts.
