Beyonce Drops Album After Album And Hit After Hit

Knowles-Carter’s last solo album, Lemonade, dropped in April 2016. She dropped a 65-minute film of the same title via HBO to accompany the legendary body of work.

The album spawned the hit songs “Formation,” “Hold Up,” “Daddy Lessons,” “All Night,” and many more.

Two years later, in June 2018, the ground-breaking artist released a joint album with her husband, multi-platinum-selling rapper and businessman, Jay-Z. They titled the album, Everything Is Love, and it spawned the summertime hit “Ape Sh*t.”

The following year, in April 2019, the Houston native released a live album titled  Homecoming: The Live Album. It was based on the concert film she dropped via Netflix about her riveting 2018 Coachella performance.

A few months later, in July 2019, Knowles-Carter appeared on that year’s Lion King album as she voiced Nala in the film. Then, in 2020, she dropped another spectacular visual companion to the Lion King album titled Black Is King. Black Is King featured the hit singles “Already,” featuring Shatta Wale and Major Lazer, and “Brown Skin Girl,” featuring Saint Jhn and Wizkid.

Lastly, in 2021, the singer released the track “Be Alive” which is on the soundtrack for the award-winning film King Richard starring award-winning actor Will Smith. She performed the song at the 2022 Oscars ceremony.
