Several events are going to take place during the summit. The range is vast; starting with people from the industry holding “thought-provoking conversations,” and ending somewhere near Gucci Mane and Pooh Shiesty performing “Like 34 & 8.” In between, there are exclusive performances and award presentations.
Heads Sharing Compliments
Billboard partnered with Amazon Music’s Playlist ‘Rotation’ for the summit. Billboard president John Amato discussed the partnership, saying the company is “thrilled to be partnering with Amazon Music’s Rotation to celebrate visionary artists and their accomplishments.”
Tim Hinshaw, head of the Hip-Hop and R&B department in Amazon Music, also wasn’t stingy with compliments. He said, “Amazon Music created Rotation to provide a stage, working with Billboard who shares this vision was a natural move.”
People of the Festival
Billboard involves people from R&B/Hip-hop Power Players List to curate the summit. The List evaluates numerous Hip-Hop artists’ success within different criteria. Lil Baby and Usher currently top the list in 2021.

Each of the events promise to involve diverse perspectives on Hip-Hop and also Modern Culture in general. Quoting Billboard’s president’s statement: “As the most popular genre in music today, R&B and hip-hop has a profound influence on our culture.”
Other guests include Flo Milli, Moneybagg Yo, and many more. Blxst will also be honored with the Rising Star Award during the summit. If you have a deep interest and love for Hip-Hop and R&B Culture, this event is probably what you’re looking for.
