Birdman and Youngboy Never Broke Again are evidently going to release a mixtape together this Friday. Could this be a response to the total loss that struck Youngboy just days ago? The disappearance of his entire YouTube repository is shocking.
Youngboy and Birdman have done collaborations in the past. They worked together on songs like, Captalk and We Poppin, songs that were supposed to be released in the 2018 mixtape “From the Bayou,” not to be confused with the 2021 mixtape, “From the Bayou.”
The new “From the Bayou” releases on December 3rd, and we know almost nothing about it.
Birdman’s Praise for Youngboy
It is so secret that Birdman has admiration for Youngboy’s success. He revealed this extent of this admiration just two months ago. Birdman made an appearance on the Big Facts podcast, and showered Youngboy with praise. The full interview can be found here.

Among topics of Atlanta rappers and Cash Money Records, Youngboy entered the conversation. Birdman was talking about the success of Drake which segued into Youngboy without prompt from the interviewer, “I said that [Drake] would be like one of the richest rappers ever. I think NBA Youngboy might be the biggest rapper […] no he’s not normal he’s special, big money right there brother Billy I think he’s a billion dollar n*gga.” Birdman has an eye for talent, and he spotted Youngboy five years ago. Now, he’s proud of the young rapper’s success, but confident that he’s no where near peaked, “When that lil’ boy get his mind right and he comes from under this bullsh*t and understands who he is, you know, [Young] Thug and all them, they’re up in age, they’re 30, this n*gga 20.”
The New “From the Bayou”
Way back in 2018, Birdman and Youngboy announced that they were releasing a mixtape called “From the Bayou.” They even went so far was to release a tracklist:
Although some of those songs were released and are beloved by fans, we never got the whole mixtape. Finally, after nearly four years, the wait seems to be over.
