Birdman recently responded to some comments Irv Gotti shared back in 2017, proving some things don’t just fizzle out. According to sources back in 2017, Irv Gotti weighed in on some tensions between Lil Wayne and Cash Money. Two minutes into the segment, Gotti expressed how he felt about the issue. “I don’t get the Weezy and Birdman thing. If you say this guy is your son, you should work that out; just pay him, man.”

No one is quite certain what occurred to bring on the recent heated and passionate words for Gotti that Birdman unleashed on social media. After all, this was a response four years cold. But, unfortunately, passing time did not lessen the heat. Based on his post, Birdman was more than a little hot under the collar about the issue, “I’ve just seen this mind ur F*kin business I been a get money n*gga RG.”
What’s Going on with Birdman?
This recent response has a lot of people scratching their heads. Why wait for so long to respond? There are many speculations of why he may be addressing Gotti’s claims now. But what is clear, a month ago, Birdman made an appearance on a podcast to address former allegations made against him. According to The Source, on the particular episode of Big Facts, he is reported as saying, “I ain’t never took from no nigga, I always bless niggas.” So given the attention he gave to the matter then, why the current response?

No one knows the deal. But Gotti’s remarks left Birdman feeling some kind of way. And Birdman wants to make it perfectly clear that any mistakes he did make were due to his youth. And that he has made amends for those mistakes. In Birdman’s words:
“Any problem I had I cleared it up. Remember because I was young. I’m telling you, 20 years old. So, a lot of shit happened early on, I just ain’t know.”
As far as the public knows, Gotti has not given a response to the comments. Perhaps it is because he is as baffled as others regarding the late reply. And if there is any clarification to be made, we will have to wait to see what develops.
