Bobby Shmurda Has Been Denied Bail Again and Trial Date Moved to 2016
Bobby Shmurda is on his third lawyer, and still there’s no luck. Bobby Shmurda has been denied bail once again on Monday.
According to PageSix, Judge James Burke set a new trial date for 22 February. Shmurda’s new attorney, Alex Spiro of the law firm Brafman & Associates, objected to the date and requested bail for his client, however, special narcotics prosecutor Nigel Farinha reportedly argued that the case against the rapper has only got stronger.
The Brooklyn rapper, whose real name is Ackquille Pollard, has been incarcerated since his arrest in December, when the judge set bail of $2 million.
Bobby fame began in 2014 from the success of his song Hot Nigga, which involved the “Shmoney dance.”
