Boosie Badazz Under Fire From Lil Nas X’s Dad After Twitter Rant

On yet another installment of “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Boosie Badazz“, we find the Louisiana rapper making some shockingly homophobic comments towards Lil Nas X. This isn’t exactly something new for him, though. Badazz has a history of relentlessly attacking Lil Nas on his sexuality. However, things are a little different this time. And no, this episode doesn’t include Mike Tyson scaring Badazz straight for the latter’s comments on Dwayne Wade’s transgender daughter. This time, Lil Nas’ father steps up to the plate.

It all started with a joke from Lil Nas.  Of course, intervention from Dad wouldn’t have been required had Badazz not, yet again, taken things too far. Last Saturday (October 23), Lil Nas made the “announcement” that he and Badazz were working together. Posted to Instagram, the joke was obvious. Badazz’s non-stop barrage of disdain for Lil Nas wasn’t exactly going to bring the artists together. For all intents and purposes, the joke could have ended right there. But yet again, Badazz had something to say. Or rather, something to rant about.

Fair content warning: this was the 38-year old rapper’s actual response to a joke:

Did you get all that? The homophobic ranting, the slurs, and the part where he tells Lil Nas to kill himself because it would “DO THIS WORLD A HUGE FAVOR”? While Lil Nas had a great, perfectly-him response, on some level, a line was crossed. Enter, Robert Stafford. Father to Montero Lamar Hill (Lil Nas X), the Georgia gospel singer had some choice words for Boosie:

Going for the throat, Stafford called out Badazz’s style, raps, image, looks, and more in an Instagram story. Stafford also added that “The game has past (passed) you.” Ouch. And while fans praised Stafford for his defense of his son, Badazz had a response ready. The same day, (Tuesday, October 26), Badazz responded with the following tweet:

So far, neither Lil Nas nor Stafford has responded to Badazz’s latest comments. And why would they? Badazz stays juvenile, and the bad decisions continue. Some notable missteps from this year include defending DaBaby’s homophobic rant at Rolling Loud, and having Bill Cosby market his autobiographical movie
