Bye Bye Tory!

Many have been saying Bye Bye Tory! to rapper Tory Lanez as he has been cancelled left and right.

On July 12th, 2020, rappers Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez were leaving Kylie Jenner’s pool party when the night took a very gruesome turn. Megan was reportedly shot in both feet, and in turn left the media to speculate a “who dun it?” situation. With only four persons being present on the scene of the incident, that being Megan, her bestfriend, Tory Lanez, and his security guard, many began to point their fingers. 

Megan’s bestfriend made a statement saying she was there, but she didn’t do it, and Megan remained silent about the events leading up to the incident for quite some time. She released a statement on twitter five days after after seeing all of the ridiculously disgusting jokes being made on Twitter about the incident.

Tory Lanez was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Did Tory Shoot Meg?

Megan Thee Stallion took to Twitter and issued a warning, stating: “Lie one more time and ima quit sparing you,” right before hoping on Instagram live and sharing with the world what took place on that traumatizing night. Low and behold, she confirmed that Tory Lanez shot her. Bye Bye Tory! 

Again, Tory remained silent.

It had been almost two months with not even a statement from his team, but on September 24th, Tory Lanez took to Twitter to break his silence. 

To my fans … I’m sorry for my silence …. but respectfully .. I got time today …… 9 PM PST .

Fans thought this was an announcement of a live… but instead, at 12AM EST, Tory Lanez released a 17 song album entitled DAYSTAR. In this album, he dedicates all 17 songs to the situation that occurred, alleging a relationship between he and Meg, and that he in fact did NOT shoot her, and how she is lying for her label to frame him.

There have been varying opinions on the matter all day. Popular news site Highsnobiety took to their Instagram this morning to say Bye Bye Tory! They released a statement that they will never cover Tory Lanez stories again. 

Rapper Tory Lanez has added to his list of disgraceful behavior by dropping the most toxic album of the year.
