Cardi B has proven herself to be a heavy hitter in the music industry. The Grammy-winning rapper did a spicy performance of “WAP” with Meg Thee Stallion at the 63rd ceremony. Earlier this month, Cardi made women’s history as the first female rapper to go Diamond for “Bodak Yellow”. When cardi arrived on the music scene, she told interviewers she had no idols. Since then, Bronx native has plans on being a business mogul like Jay Z and “billion-dollar woman” like Savage X Fenty owner Rihanna.
“Just feel like they’re so influential because Rihanna comes from a country, a Caribbean country, that my parents came from and she’s a whole billionaire. But for her to make her business so big and be a billionaire, that’s what I strive to be. That’s what I want. I want to be a billion-dollar woman. How am I supposed to be rich? How am I supposed to build my net worth?”, Cardi said.
In addition, she added how much she admires Jay Z for his “wit and strategy”, to go from the hood to a billionaire.
Earlier this month, announced a doll release and received backlash from her twitter fans who were upset about her having other business ventures. As a result, Cardi deactivated her Twitter account. Although she is working on new music, she would like her fans to be patient as she puts her focus on other businesses.

My daughter constantly want me to buy these dolls, she actually has a preference. I have so much pressure.
