Cardi B Settles $30M Lawsuit

After a two year ongoing lawsuit by Cardi’s former manager, Klenord “Shaft” Raphael, she has finally gotten her peace. AllHipHop has managed to get access to documents that show that Cardi B has managed to settle the lawsuit. Raphael has filed a lawsuit for $10 million in 2018 claiming breach of contract. According to him, he had discovered Cardi and was responsible for her skyrocket to fame. Cardi filed a counterlawsuit against him for $30 million.

The court documents state, “This action, including all claims and counterclaims, is hereby dismissed in its entirety with prejudice against all parties.”

This lawsuit has hindered Cardi B from getting paid in the past. She claims in her Twitter account that she was unable to be paid because of the litigation process. She also claimed that Shaft actually failed to properly report her earnings in the past. However, she was able to pull off a Christmas miracle with the settling of this legal problem.

After all her success with “WAP” this year, Cardi is raking in the good luck and she is going to be having a very happy new year indeed.
