She continues to break records as her single “Up” marks the highest debuting track by a female artist since Lauren Hill’s “Doo Wop” (That Thing) single in 1998.
The Bronx born rapper recently had an interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Cardi says she first heard the phrase “it’s up, and it’s stuck” from her husband Offset. “After the song came out, I thought it was like a Georgia thing.”
Cardi B’s music has appeared in the top 10 since 2017. Many fans such as myself are definitely looking forward to see where her success will take her.
