Cardi B from Reality T.V.to Daytime T.V. the Glow up
CardiB got her start on Love and Hip-Hop but she refused to let that just be her claim to fame. While you see other artist on the show in the studio but never hearing anything they worked on Cardi showed and proved and put her work out, now the world see’s she is more than a reality star or former stripper.
CardiB started from Reality T.V. and on Monday July 18, 2017 she made her way to daytime T.V. not only performing but interviewing with talk show host Wendy Williams, on the Wendy Williams show. Mondays episode of Wendy Williams Showwas a birthday special and she choose Cardi to perform her new hit single Bodak Yellow.
Miss Washpoppin also sat down with Wendy and had a formal interview. Like Wendy does with a lot of her guest she got all into Cardi’s business. They talked about her leaving the hit reality show Love and Hip-hop and even touched on her connection with Offset from Migos. Wendy asked Cardi how long had her and Offset been dating in which Cardi replied with “You know I don’t really date, I just have fun. We all have fun”.
Cardi who most would see as a rookie carried herself like a veteran in the interview. Cardi also gave a great performance for Wendy and her studio audience which consisted of the Boss Rick Ross. The Bronx native recently inked a deal with Atlantic, she was also nominated for a B.E.T award for best female MC, and Remy Ma brought her out to perform on stage with a few Queens of Hip-hop atHot 97’s Summer Jam. Once self-proclaimed regular degular smegular ,Cardi is now turning herself into a superstar.
