Young Ash Speaks on Dougie B, Sobriety & Her ‘Fly Girl Coded’ Mindset on ‘Witnessed By Lish’

Bronx-born rapper Young Ash is entering her soft girl era, and her recent interview on Witness By Lish with Lish 2X proves it. The rising artist sat down for a vulnerable conversation about love, loyalty, femininity, and personal growth — showing a more grounded, spiritual side fans rarely get to see.

Love, Loyalty & Lessons with Dougie B

Young Ash opened up about her relationship with drill rapper Dougie B, calling him her “best friend” and explaining how she’s learned to tune out distractions.

“Girls try to reach out to me to get in between us,” she said. “But I ignore the noise and don’t even bring it back to him.”

When asked how she navigates dating a man known for raw, street-influenced music, she kept it honest: “It’s a work in progress, but in the meantime, I’m gon’ stick beside him.”

While she didn’t define the future of their relationship, she did share her hope to one day fall in love, get married, and start a family — but for now, she’s simply enjoying the moment.

Faith, Femininity & Ash’s Soft Girl Transition

Raised by divorced but loving parents, Ash described herself as a “Daddy’s girl” who grew up around affection despite life’s challenges. She admitted she once wore her independence like armor but has learned to embrace a softer side.

“I used to be Miss Independent,” she said. “Once I started talking softer to every man, the ego left.”

Further referencing her faith, she mentioned, “The Bible says a woman should be submissive to a man”. Rather than seeing that as weakness, she explained how it’s helped her find balance and peace. “Sadly, I’m used to dating men who want to humble me,” she added. “But I believe in being super soft now.”

Young Ash On Friendships & Protecting Her Peace

Young Ash was equally open about her relationship with women. “I’m not a ‘girls, girl,’” she admitted. “I had two friends in high school”.

She recalled being betrayed by people who smiled in her face after dragging her online. Because “I’ve had people violate me and then see me in person, then smile”, she said. Still, she’s now open to building new friendships and healthier bonds, moving forward with a clean slate and open heart.

A Clear Mind & ‘Fly Girl Coded’ Energy

In one of her most powerful reveals, Young Ash announced she’s on a sober journey. Ash is done with weed and ready for more clarity.

“I feel like it do cloud a lot of judgement,” she shared. “I’m ready for my blessings. I wanna be sober and fly”.

Her latest single, “Fly Girl Coded,” perfectly embodies this new phase. Ash is pushing her Fly Girl swag — confidence, peace, and elevation.

Young Ash’s growth is inspiring. Furthermore she offers self-reflection to spiritual awareness. Her Witness By Lish appearance is more than an interview. Emphatically, it’s a coming-of-age moment for a woman stepping fully into her power, faith, and purpose.

Cardi B Drops Am I The Drama And Shakes Up The Rap Game

Cardi B’s long-awaited sophomore album Am I The Drama is officially here, and the rap world is already in flames. With 23 tracks packed with bars, shade, and unapologetic energy, Cardi proves she’s still the one who can make the whole culture stop and watch.

Cardi B Brought The Streets And The Screens To Life

The rollout for Am I The Drama has been pure Cardi B. From hitting the NYC subways to sell CDs like a true hustler. Even turning courtroom appearances into viral content by creating “court edition” promos that had fans laughing and sharing nonstop. She dropped magazine covers for Billboard, Galore, and more, reminding everyone she can shut down the fashion world while running rap.

This wasn’t just album promo—it was a masterclass in visibility. Cardi B made sure no one could ignore her, and now the payoff has arrived.

Celebs Rally Behind Cardi B

Cardi B Am InThe Drama Coi Leray postSince the drop, celebs have been posting about the album on socials. Coi Leray reposted the track “Man Of Your Word,” which contains a slick diss at Bia. On the track, Cardi raps about Bia only getting booked when promoters can’t afford Coi. The shade is sharp, the punchline is hilarious, and the internet went wild.

Other stars have chimed in too, quoting lyrics, sharing screenshots, and hyping Cardi’s energy. It’s clear that even other artists can’t resist getting caught up in the drama Cardi is delivering.

Cardi Aims At JT Of City Girls

It doesn’t stop there. Cardi also takes aim at JT from City Girls, dropping bars that fans instantly recognized as shade. JT has long been accused of cozying up to Nicki Minaj, Cardi’s known rival. Many fans—FM included—learned who the City Girls were because Cardi boosted them early on. She gave them a feature and even shouted them out while JT was still locked up. But loyalty clearly went sideways, and Cardi isn’t holding back this time.

This isn’t just rap beef; it’s Cardi reclaiming her power and checking fake friendships in real-time. And rap fans love nothing more than when artists keep it raw and call it how they see it.

More Targets, More Drama

Am I The Drama doesn’t just stop at Bia and JT. Cardi calls out multiple rap girls for being fake friends, snakes in the industry, or opportunists. She doesn’t drop names on every bar, but the hints are obvious, and social media detectives are already piecing it together. The petty is strong, the pretty is louder, and the album lives up to its title.

As Cardi says on one track, it’s “Pretty and Petty”—a perfect description for the energy she brought to this project.

Why This Album Is A Moment

What makes Am I The Drama bigger than just music is how it’s shaking up rap in real-time. Cardi is forcing responses. The girls are definitely going to be in the booth before breakfast tomorrow, ready to clap back. Fans are predicting diss tracks, subliminals, and Instagram Lives will start flying within hours.

This is exactly what makes Cardi different.  Cardi creates moments. She turns an album release into a cultural event. Everyone is watching, everyone is talking, and everyone has an opinion.

Cardi B New Album Am I The Drama

Cardi Balances The Drama With The Work

Don’t let the drama overshadow the work. Cardi delivered a massive album with 23 full tracks. A stunning visual with Kehlani accompanyingthe album release, proving Cardi’s loyalty to artists who’ve been blackballed. She stood firm with Megan Thee Stallion despite the hate Megan often receives. Bardi announced a full 2026 tour, starting in California and ending in Atlanta, so Bardi Gang finally gets their dream live experience.

Cardi is showing the world that she can handle family life, a breakup, a new relationship, and even a baby on the way—all while running the rap game.

Conclusion

“Am I The Drama” is everything the title promised: messy, bold, funny, vulnerable, and vicious. Cardi B came with bars, features, visuals, and an energy that proves she’s still the culture’s main character.

This album is already sparking debates, diss chatter, and nonstop reposts from celebs and fans alike. The rap world is stirred up, and it’s only the first night.

So buckle up. Cardi B didn’t just release an album—she lit the match. The booth is about to get crowded before breakfast, and we absolutely love it.

Cardi B Beats Court Case and Prepares for New Album Drop

Cardi B beats court case and album drop

Cardi B Beats Court Case and Prepares for New Album Drop

Cardi B walked out of court with a smile yesterday. The Bronx rapper won her civil assault case and was found not guilty. This major victory was not just for Cardi, but also for her fans who supported her through every step. Instead of paying to settle, Cardi stood up for herself and made it clear she is no easy payday.

In her statement, Cardi said: “Imma be nice this time, but next time I will countersue for frivolous charges.” That is the bold spirit that makes her different from many other stars who take the quick route. Cardi worked too hard for her money to give it away.

Missing Family Time for Court

Cardi also shared how this case disrupted her life. She admitted that she missed her children’s first day of school because of her court dates. She had to wake up early and deal with long hours in court. Still, she kept working late nights to provide for her family. She said she works hard daily for her kids and the people she supports, not for strangers who file false claims. That honesty shows how dedicated she is as both a mother and an artist.

Fans and Supporters Thanked

In her press release, Cardi thanked her fans, positive press outlets, and everyone who stood by her. She gave love back to those who refused to turn their backs on her. At the same time, she told her fans not to harass or threaten the plaintiff or their family. Cardi made it clear that this chapter is over and asked everyone to let it go. That is real growth. She proved that peace is power.

Album Rollout Gets a Boost

This win could not have come at a better time. Cardi’s new album “Am I The Drama” drops this Friday, only four days away. The buzz from the case has become free publicity for the rollout. Cardi knows how to turn pressure into success. She showed the world how to flip a hard situation into a win.

Courtroom Fashion Wins

Cardi did not just show up to court. She showed out. Every day she walked into the courtroom, she looked like she was stepping onto a runway. Her stylist Tokyo Styles kept fans talking with bold hair switches. She rocked long black waves one day, a platinum blonde look another, and even a fiery red wig that shut down social media.

Her outfits matched the energy. She wore chic tailored suits, sleek trench coats, and high heels that screamed confidence. Fashion blogs covered her daily looks like they were NYFW. Cardi proved you can fight a legal battle and still dominate the style game.

More Bookings, More Music, More Money

With the case behind her, Cardi is back to business. She told the press it is time for more “shhhMoney.” The win only adds to the hype around her second studio album. Fans are expecting raw bars, Bronx energy, and plenty of drama. If the rollout is any sign, Cardi is ready to deliver.

Standing Her Ground

Even after court, Cardi reminded people she does not play. When asked about rumors of a new pregnancy, she tossed a pen at the reporter. The rumors came after Offset bragged about getting her pregnant for a fourth time. The twist? Cardi has also been linked to NFL star Stefon Diggs. That left fans wondering about paternity. Still, Cardi has not confirmed anything.

What she has confirmed is that she is not afraid to clap back. Whether in court or outside of it, Cardi defends her respect.

More Drama on the Way

So, is Cardi pregnant? Nobody knows. But what we do know is that her album “Am I The Drama” arrives this Friday. That is the real birth fans are waiting for. With courtroom wins, unforgettable fashion, and new music on deck, Cardi B is proving once again that she is unstoppable.

She fought for herself, kept her family first, and still served drama the way only she can. Now it is time for the music to take center stage. And if history tells us anything, Cardi’s about to break records once again.

God bless you, Cardi. The culture needs your voice, your fight, and your flair.

“Top Notch” By Mahoney (feat. Monaleo): A Celebration Of Girl Power

Mahoney, a Bay Area singer-songwriter, is back and better than ever! Her current track, “Top Notch,” produced by Starski and featuring Monaleo, was poised to be the new ladies’ anthem as the year 2024 concluded.

Sometimes, women become overwhelmed and feel like giving up. But there’s always something to motivate them to keep going. Could it possibly be a song such as “Top Notch?” This song is all about girl power, pushing one to keep rising no matter what.

Mahoney’s “Top Notch”

One cannot allow barriers to derail them from their life’s mission, no matter how many there are. Mahoney and Monaleo are aware of this.

As Mahoney shares,

“This song really reflects where I am right now, and I’m super excited to share that with everyone.”

“I said I’m top notch; you can’t see me; I’m in the top spot,” the duo sings on the catchy melody.

The Emphasis

The song emphasizes the artists’ sass and confidence as they promote their accomplishments, position, and unique style. As the lyrics convey, Mahoney and Monaleo are proud of their victories in life, which can inspire others in many ways. But how?

Some may avoid revealing their accomplishments to others because they fear being perceived as braggadocious. However, these two women exemplify fearlessness, going to great lengths to speak highly of themselves.

“Top Notch” And A Collaboration With Mozzy?

“It just keeps getting better. On Your Way,” created by 30Hertz and featuring Sacramento’s Mozzy, is also available! This track showcases another one of Mahoney’s talents—her vocal ability. Mahoney raps and sings—that is multi-talented, wouldn’t you say?

Mozzy’s Impact on Mahoney

Mozzy, the featured artist, has collaborated with well-known rappers such as Sada BabyDave East, and Young Thug. This makes Mahoney’s opportunity to collaborate with him incredible, as it signals fresh possibilities await her and that’s exciting.

Many times, when a person appreciates and excels at their skill, they are surprised by the amount of praise they receive. But the more time and effort a person devotes to their craft, the more unexpected opportunities they will acquire.

NYC’s Best Bridgerton Ball Hosted By Lish 2X

Lish 2X Bridgerton Ball

Lish 2X hosted a lavish Bridgerton Ball in Harlem. Lish definitely paid attention to Bridgerton-like details, while adding her own flair to increase the modern idea of fashion.

The red carpet was filled with Bridgerton Inspired looks.

Many have tried to imitate the vibes of the Netflix original Bridgerton Balls, but as we all saw in the Detroit Bridgerton Experience that had went viral for failing miserably!

Harlem’s very own Lish 2X just set a new standard for high society events with her lavish birthday celebration, a Bridgerton-inspired ball that left New York City buzzing. Hosted in the heart of Harlem, this event was attended by the city’s socialites, reality stars, and tastemakers, making it the Bridgerton ball to be at—no small feat considering the competition.

While other cities may have tried their hand at recreating the Regency-era magic—looking at you, Detroit—Lish 2X’s ball delivered an experience that left guests saying, “Is this real life or Netflix?” The Detroit version might want to take a few notes from this glamorous night in Harlem, which, rumor has it, exceeded all expectations.

This Bridgerton Ball wasn’t just an event; it was an immersive experience. The ball blended old-world elegance with Harlem’s vibrant culture. Photo ops were everywhere, with guests posing like they were starring in the next season of Bridgerton itself. The entertainment was equally captivating: a live quartet featuring violinists Seoyeon Im and Marybeth MacKay, violist Alec Santamaria, and cellist Anthime Miller set the perfect tone for the evening. In true Bridgerton fashion, a ballerina floated gracefully around the room, adding an ethereal element that had attendees entranced.

The artistry didn’t stop there. Live painter Kristen Santiago worked her magic on canvas with live painting. Poet Fa Timat delivered a soul-stirring performance, adding depth and elegance to the evening. As a fitting grand finale, the “Diamond of the Ball” was crowned and awarded a luxurious crystal jewelry set, marking a perfect moment of Regency-style opulence.

No Bridgerton Ball is complete without indulgence, and Lish 2X’s Bridgerton Ball delivered! With a delectable assortment of cakes, cookies, and soul food passed as hors d’oeuvres, leaving no one wanting.

FM Spotlight: “Dirty Drugs” By Zelly Ocho — Experimental, Hedonistic, Autotuned

Zelly Ocho’s “Dirty Drugs” recent album is a 14-track record full of (who would’ve thought) drugs, voice experiments, and heavy bass instrumentals. The autotune is not just present — it’s over the top, which makes it hard to understand the lyrics sometimes, but it also adds to the album’s overall atmosphere.

Multiple “Dirty Drugs” features include “Brand New” with Trippie Redd and “Cup of Ice” with Joeyy and Ricky Chix. Ricky Chix’s feature is particularly notable, as the artist’s nonchalant and unemotional voice perfectly complements the instrumental.

However, only some of the songs are so imperturbable. Tracks like “Dirt Bag” featuring Hunchozz sound energetic and attack mode, while singles like “Arm & Leg” or “Hate v” appear energetic and even somewhat whimsical.

Overall, Zelly experiments a lot throughout the record. There are constants such as autotune and deep bass, but also a lot of room for various moods. It may be over the top sometimes, but it works out in the artist’s favor since it adds originality to the sound.

Zelly also discusses numerous topics throughout the album. While many songs are about drugs, there’s room for reflections on life, concerns, etc. At the same time, the artist uses certain language and styles even when reflecting. The profound conclusions appear between the lines about drugs, weapons, etc.
In conclusion, Zelly Ocho’s “Dirty Drugs” is worth checking out. It’s experimental but has a signature style, which is, at the very least, catchy. An 8/10.

“Upgraded Boss”

Together with an album, Zelly Ocho also released the “Upgraded Boss” music video. Throughout the clip, the artist appears to be enjoying life, smoking, and hanging out with his friends.

The song itself is full of heavy bass and autotune, while the video appears to have many animated effects.

FM Spotlight: “Self Made Self Paid 2” By Big Homiie G

Big Homiie G’s “Self Made Self Paid 2” record is an eight-track addition to the artist’s previously released “Self Made Self Paid” album. A rather eclectic new album’s collection consists of songs ranging from deep and meaningful “Be There” to “Hot,” where Big Homiie G uses lines like “don’t ask me shit about shit” over a suspenseful instrumental (which is also deep and meaningful but in a different way).

The lyrics are something to point out. There are various attention-catching lines throughout the record. For example, in “Be There,” the author creates an antithesis, starting the verse by talking about drugs he just took and moving on to thinking about family and responsibilities (“I’m out drunk, pills, and ‘shrooms, my body goin’ through the motions I’m in Miami by the ocean, thinkin’ bout my Uncle Bud (Yeah, yeah) … I gotta be there for my daughter, I gotta be there for my sons, I gotta be there for everybody need me”).

Another example would be “Us Pt. 2” with trashy lines like “my b*tch just text, she havin’ PTSD.”

One way or another, the artist is catching listeners’ attention through the lyrics.

The Album’s Instrumentals

Instrumentals also eclectic, though most are within the bounds of trap Hip Hop music. Something particular to point out is the increased originality of the songs. In the last review, I mentioned that the first part of “Self Made Self Paid” sounds like a compilation made by other artists instead of Big Homiie G’s record. This time it doesn’t.

Overall, the record is a solid pack of bangers describing the artist’s (or the album’s lyrical character’s) drug-induced, trashy, sometimes suspenseful routine. Many lyrics catch attention, though not many of them are necessarily catchy. The instrumentals also appear well-made and seemingly more eclectic than the last time. A seven out of ten

Together with a new record, Big Homiie G also recently released a “Go Get Da Money” music video featuring Moneybagg Yo and Skilla Baby. In the clip, artists appear together with women, money, women counting money, etc.

FM Spotlight: “Still King (Deluxe)” By BIG30

The deluxe version of BIG30’s “Still King record is rather versatile, yet there are pieces binding the album. While bangers and lyrical compositions with various genres appear throughout the record, many tracks will likely have boosted bass and aggressive or suspense-sounding piano in the background.

This situation ends up being a double-edged sword. While the similarity of the sounds gives BIG30 a signature style, some tracks might appear too similar.

That is not to say that every song sounds the same. As mentioned above, one can encounter a variety of genres and moods while listening to “Still King. There is  a Triple Six Mafia-sounding beat in “NIKE TECH. Bangers like “4 AM IN INDIANA or “SlIMES AND CHOPPA GANG and lyrical compositions, such as “FACETIME WITH MY MAMA or “BEEN A THREAT also add to the picture.

The same goes for the lyrics. A lot of them show a drug dealer’s daily routine or describe weapons being used against supposed enemies. Still, many tracks raise deep subjects or talk about important concerns. An example would be the aforementioned “BEEN A THREAT, with bars like,

“Percs and Xanax (Perky), smoke Black back-to-back because it keep me sane

Lost my cousin (My cousin), been fucked up mentally, can’t say shit but, “Man (Man).”

Moreover, the lyrics describing the drug dealer’s routine and stuff like that also have many exciting details to them. A subtle antithesis in “4 AM IN INDIANA (“wash my face and brush my teeth and go pick out a strap”) or lines causing nervous laughter in “SHAWN CARTER” (“caught an opp twistin’ his hair in traffic, three shots to his dreads”) are only some of the examples.

Overall, BIG30’s new deluxe version of “Still King” album is a solid record with multiple bangers and other notable points. It could be a little more differentiated and have a little less violent threats, but other than that, there’s not much to complain about. A solid 7 out of 10.
